I've been making objects and displaying found objects in special ways since I was about five, and I started thinking of these things as art when I was about fifty five. I'm mostly attracted to functional objects because I imagine that routine use gives them an opportunity to enter into our consciousness in a more intimate way than objects we merely see - but I also make and include here objects with no pretense of functionality.
